What is the Panda Paddle?
The Panda Paddle is a virtual event hosted by World Wildlife Fund (WWF) every August. It is a time to paddle, enjoy the outdoors, and help raise funds for WWF. Our very own co-owner, Sam Briley, has been paddling in the Panda Paddle for the past couple years to celebrate her birthday. This year, she wants to see more folks getting involved!
Meet us at Lake Raleigh to paddle and support nature! Join Sam on the water, take a leisurely paddle, or jump into the 5K or 10K races!
BONUS - If you register for the paddle or donate to Sam's Paddle Page, you get a discount to Gear Up Rentals and Retail! All you have to do is send us your confirmation email that you've registered or donated.
Throughout the day, you can rent one of our Stand Up Paddleboards for just $20 per hour to paddle around Lake Raleigh. We recommend reserving your board by choosing how many boards you need and your time below. However, if you show up later than 15 minutes to your reservation, we will have to pass it on to the next person waiting to paddle.
What does the rental include?
Each SUP rental includes the use of the paddleboard, paddle, Personal Flotation Device (PFD), and a quick introduction from our staff.
