When: July 18
Where: Brumley Nature Preserve - North
Who is this outing for: This is for anyone looking to take their photography skills beyond just the average "point-and-shoot."
Ever get jealous at your friends' and family's photos that are on the next level and make you say, "WOW" all of the time? Have you found yourself curious about what your camera is capable of? If you've answered yes to any of the above questions, keep on reading!
It's actually really easy to take better photos once you understand and practice some basic concepts. That is what we'll do on this outing. We will teach you the everything you need to know to take your pictures from "bleh" to "BLAM!" Not only will you learn basic composition techniques, tips, and tricks, but you will also be hiking around such a beautiful piece of property. Somewhere between 1-3 miles.
You don't need to have years of experience or have a super-expensive, fancy camera to take better photographs either. If you have a DSLR that's great, but if all you have is a smartphone camera that's great too! All photographs follow the same basic principles, so it doesn't matter what camera took it. Whatever camera you think you'll most likely bring with you on your adventures is what you can bring to this class.
